Position Summary
The Inside Sales Agent will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with an assigned portfolio of specialty retailers, national & regional accounts, and e-commerce partners. This role will support the sales team by organizing sales data, processing orders, providing exceptional customer service, and proactively driving sales growth through in & outbound communication. The position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a supportive point of contact for assigned accounts, building strong relationships to ensure sales growth, customer satisfaction, and retention.
- Work in concert with Sales Management and outside sales teams to respond to account needs and sales opportunities.
- Manage inbound and outbound sales calls and emails to support account growth, re-orders, and product sell-through.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels, backorders, and shipping schedules; provide timely updates and solutions to accounts.
- Support seasonal product launches, dealer programs, and marketing initiatives by ensuring accounts are informed and engaged.
- Track sales performance, prepare reports, and assist with forecasting to meet revenue goals.
- Partner with internal teams including Customer Service, Distribution, Operations, Finance, Marketing, & Product Development to resolve issues and deliver exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications
This is an in-house position, office located in San Diego County, CA. We are looking for a candidate that meets the following profile:
- Inside sales, customer service, or account management experience in sporting goods, outdoor, or consumer products industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Competent in Excel & business platforms.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Genuine interest in snow sports, outdoor recreation, and active lifestyles preferred.
- Potential travel for trade shows and vendor visits.
