enjoi skateboards are currently seeking a full time illustrator / graphics designer.
The ideal candidate is a talented graphic designer with a strong illustration background. Candidate must be creative, motivated with a strong knowledge of the brand and the skateboarding industry.
The position requires the candidate to use their skills to conceptualize unique and original artwork for use on all product categories including but not limited to: skateboards, printables, packaging, product concepts and POP.
This is a full-time, in-house position. Please no replies for off-site.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsibilities include working closely and taking art direction from the Art Director and Brand Manager to fulfill day-to-day requests and execute concepts.
• Conceptualize and create original art for enjoi skateboards.
• Convert raw artwork into print ready separations for decks, wheels, and tees.
• Design graphics for printables and hard goods.
• Regular file back-up and keep an organized archive of all art files.
• Maintain integrity of production schedules in a deadline driven business.
REQUIREMENTS:
• The successful candidate is a creative and inspirational thinker with a true creative soul!
A clear understanding of and ability to fit into enjoi sensibilities.
• Proven ability to design original graphics.
• Creative capabilities including strong color sense, superior eye for detail, strong conceptual skills, and excellent layout and typography expertise.
• Ability to interact clearly and confidently with managers to ensure their visual communication needs are realized.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting quickly to constant changing priorities.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented, well-organized and able to thrive in a deadline driven environment.
• Must have strong MAC skills including: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, & Acrobat
• Knowledge of litho and screen printing processes.
• College degree preferred plus at least 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Must have time management skills in order to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with skateboarding preferred.
