WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for flexible and hardworking students that are willing to join our team for a 12-month (6+6) internship starting October 1st at Nike and Converse Barcelona headquarters. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, is eager to learn and not afraid of challenges.
Our internships allow students to be fully immersed in meaningful work that impacts the future of the business. To be successful in the role our interns need to be self-starters who strive to drive innovation to win as a team.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Business Planning teams keep the Company moving in the right direction by owning the strategic business planning process and orchestrating groundbreaking projects across businesses and geographies. Embedded in teams across the company, strategy professionals explore sophisticated business issues; conduct consumer, competitive and market analyses; build financial models and develop action plans. The teams help write the future of sport by charting Converses path forward.
Your tasks and responsibilities may include:
Work on projects in sophisticated forecasting technics (statistics, correlations, analysis, analytics)
Support in process and reporting (forecast accuracy and other reports) and help to increase the data accuracy for planning and reporting purposes
Support the Planning team in their re-occurring tasks, such as reporting, data validation and preparation for meetings
Investigate into metrics, benchmarking and Key Performance Indicators
Build, check and update different templates and presentations
Processing, mapping, and identifying potential improvements on data integrity
Reporting maintenance of the actual reporting portfolio within South within regular and specific timeframe
Training sessions for reporting: Schedule and implement training sessions to teach the team to use and get insights from reports
Insights gathering from data: Help on a business perspective on getting insights from a Stock and Sales plan
Build and sustain a monthly/seasonal account business results meeting review to supervise top franchises
WHAT YOU BRING
Graduate or Masers Degree within Business administration, Engineering, Statistics, or other related fields.
Proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent Excel and accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
Knowledge of Business and Data mining, Retail experience is a plus
Used to think out of the box and dealing with a dynamic environment.
Skills such as data wrangling, visualization, and data analysis.
Openminded teammate with good communication skills.
Academic, volunteering, or previous internship experiences related are a plus (please include in your CV).
Passion for the brand and sports in.
MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

N ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN INTERNSHIP, YOU MUST
Fulfill the requirements to be hired thru a Practice Contract (Contrato para la obtencin de la prctica professional), mainly consisting on possessing of a university degree or professional master's degree acquired within the past three years, or within five years in case of disability.
For candidates who completed their studies abroad, such calculation will be made from the date of recognition or homologation of the degree in Spain.
