NIKEs European Logistics Campus (ELC) in Laakdal, Belgium serves a large network of retailers, Nike stores and consumers not just in Europe but across the world. We are looking for engaging and diverse professionals that are willing to join our team for a 3-month internship starting in February at our Nikes European Logistics Campus in Laakdal, Belgium. Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator that shows willingness to learn and is not afraid of challenges. Our internships allow professionals to be fully immersed in meaningful work that impacts the future of the business. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As a Logistics Customs Intern, you will support the Customs Team with optimizing our import and export processes, while maintaining and ensuring compliancy within predefined standards. Through analyzing and improving processes you'll contribute in ensuring that products flow seamlessly to our consumers in a constantly evolving environment. You will manage those flows by coordinating with internal and external partners and help to map, identify and roll-out new opportunities in a challenging trade landscape.
During your internship, youll work with a team of dedicated colleagues and get to create connections to people on all organizational levels. Working at Nike is highly cross-functional which means that youll build networks within different partners in and outside of Nike. Throughout the internship youll be supported by one of our mentors who will help you to get the most out of your internship at Nike!
WHAT YOU BRING
Higher degree student within supply chain management, logistics, or other related fields
Multitasking and prioritizing are easy for you, and you enjoy finding solution to complex problems
You are proficient English and have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Eagerness to be an active member of the team and take ownership
Determined with a strong focus on outputs and results.
A global approach and ideally a passion for sport and logistics
IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN INTERNSHIP, YOU MUST
Be a student for the whole duration of the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution)
Be available for a 3-month fulltime internship starting February 1st, 2024
