C1RCA, in San Clemente, Calif., needs a POP & Packaging Specialist to join their team.
The P.O.P. and Packaging Specialist is responsible for the presentation of the C1rca brand(s) in retail environments worldwide - everything the consumer sees and touches about C1rca except the product itself.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Research visual merchandising needs in global markets (partner with sales and marketing departments).
-Strategize the global visual merchandising plan based on input from
worldwide markets. Goal is to create single and customizable materials that can serve diverse markets and retail cultures (partner with Marketing and Sales).
-Design and Develop merchandising materials including packaging (partner with the appropriate product managers and Design Director).
-Oversee costing and production processes (partner with Purchasing Dept and Product Managers).
-Deliver and Implement, including creation of concept retail environments in key markets (partner with sales organizations, including sell-in programs).
-Communicate & oversee implementation of useful and cohesive practices from specific markets on a global basis (partner with sales organizations).
Secondary Responsibilities:
-Responsible for creation and maintenance of development budgets
-Responsible for creation and maintenance of development calendars to ensure P.O.P. and packaging synchronization
-Integrate look and feel of visual merchandising materials with other marketing materials as needed.
-Some national and international travel, as needed
Experience:
-Packaging/merchandising and/or design/development experience required
-Knowledge/experience with sports-specialty retail environments preferred.
Skills:
-Innovative approach to packaging & merchandising design
-Proven ability to deliver on-time results with a wide range of materials, development partners, and vendors
-knowledge of post consumer recycled and other green product options
-Diplomatic. Able to resolve multiple and sometimes conflicting customer priorities into a single (or customizable) solution
Personality:
