Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for creating industry leading e-
mail marketing designs for the BikeBandit.com brand that help achieve
both marketing and sales goals by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may
be assigned.
• Multi-task on a variety of campaigns with a focus on promotional and
sales goals, within a fast paced team environment.
• Take direction well and thoughtfully expand on an initial idea or
concept. Have a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision
making.
• Assist in planning email marketing content, graphic aspects, and
presentation of sale items within e-mail marketing or other promotional
channels.
• Determine size and arrangement of promotional material and copy,
selects style and size of type, and arranges layout based upon available
space, knowledge of layout principles, and esthetic design concepts.
• Review final layout and/or suggests improvements, and presents final
campaign layouts to supervisor/team for approval.
• Create and code a finished promotional email. Pre-flights all email
campaigns and schedules to send to appropriate subscribers.
• Ensure consistency of design and branding principals throughout all
creative campaigns.
• Prioritize workload by review of working calendars and adheres to all
dates.
• Maintain template files, vendor supplied files, and other image
resource files.
• Prepare series of visual mock-ups to illustrate sequence and timing of
website development for promotional spaces on an as-needed basis.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
• Have at least 1-2 years of experience within the design industry
• Possess either an AA or Bachelors degree in Graphic Design
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (CS4/5)
• Some knowledge of Dreamweaver and Basic HTML coding
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience in concept development, layout, and for-web production.
• Excellent visual communication, layout, and typography skills
• Well organized and detail oriented, able to articulate ideas clearly
through both written and spoken form.
• Able to receive critique well within group situations
• Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Interest or passion for powersports and culture preferred, but not
required.
