About the Job

Full-time, year-round position as a Professional/Master Golf Club Builder whose primary focus will be custom building golf equipment for one of the newest and most dynamic fitting studios in the world. We are looking for a professional who has significant experience with custom building as well as a strong desire to be an important member of a prominent industry leader in golf equipment at KBS.

Overview

A high energy, self-starting professional with a passion for golf equipment and club building is needed at The KBS GOLF EXPERIENCE in Carlsbad, California.

The KBS Golf Experience is one of the premier golf operations in the country. Our facility includes two state of the art Trackman Fitting Bays, as well as a full club build center, lounge and retail space. The Club Builder will be able to utilize a full-service Golf Build Shop to custom fit and build golf clubs at the highest level with KBS Product and all major golf manufacturing partners. The fitting & building process begins by testing your current equipment, gathering hard performance data, and learning about your golf game and goals. This position requires a person with strong motivation and golf knowledge. We offer not only a great job but more importantly a career within the golf industry with the fastest growing brand in golf. • Must have experience and knowledge of Golf Club Building/Fitting and Golf Equipment

• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to the highest quality of customer service

• Ability to work productively in a team-oriented environment

• Proven self-starter with the ability to manage several tasks at once

• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to get things done

• Planning/Scheduling Golf Fittings throughout the year

• Experienced Golf Teacher

• Must be knowledgeable in all Club Fitting Equipment

• Retail Sales with an emphasis on custom fitting in our state-of-the-art KBS Golf Experience

• General Golf Facility Operations

• Assist with all KBS Golf Experience Operations

• Other duties as may be assigned by other management personnel.

• Accomplishing assigned tasks, working in an efficient team-oriented manner and managing multiple tasks in an extremely fast paced environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel

• Ability to multitask, handle varying daily priorities and meet deadlines consistently

• Knowledge of the game of golf, golf equipment and desire to continue learning

• Custom Fitting Golf Equipment Building: 2 years Minimum (Required)

Qualifications/Experience/What we are looking for:

• MUST be located in the San Diego/Surrounding Area

• Must be 18 years of age

• 2 years minimum of Club Building Experience, Department Manager, or Retail Store Manager experience required.
