Kering Eyewear seeks a highly motivated and talented Trade Event Manager to join our Centralized Channels team and contribute to the growth, development, and execution of our commercial events.
How you will contribute:
Design, realise and fully manage commercial events and trade fairs for product collection presentations independently
Define the global commercial event plan and monitor local event plans in line with business needs, sharing the calendar with all functions involved and coordinating for the management of macro and micro details with all counterparts and teams involved in the event
Designing and organising internal events dedicated to the sales team
Define and share with the markets the guidelines for the management and implementation of local events, coordinating with the Corporate Image, Retail & Corporate Design teams
Being the point of reference before, during and after the event for organisational and logistical aspects and for managing the allocated budget: assigning suppliers, negotiating quotes, selecting the location, defining the list of participants, managing invitations, managing travel plans for internal and external clients, catering, transfers, set-up, sample handling, etc
Managing the supplier network, seeking new contacts when necessary, negotiating and managing quotes for services and monitoring their execution according to agreed standards
Manage the budget for business events, with consequent invoicing, with constant monitoring of expenses and periodic updates to share with your manager always planning expenses and containing costs when possible
Prepare a follow-up report for each event realised in order to identify best practices, track costs and results and share it with the involved and interested functions
Being responsible for communicating initiatives internally through existing company channels
Who you are:
3-5 years' experience in a similar role with previous experience in commercial events
Fluent in Italian and English, Spanish and French are considered a plus
Open to travel
Advanced skills in Excel and Power Point
Extremely organised and detail-oriented with a strong focus on results and meeting deadlines
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
Strong network of contacts and suppliers
Team player, proactive, able to coordinate different stakeholders and build strong relationships
Entrepreneurial autonomy and problem solving skills
