As our Product Line Manager Lead, Jordan Womens Flight Apparel, you will drive compelling product creation for our streetwear consumer to launch the brand into the future. Leading Womens Flight Apparel you will lead strategy and be the voice of the future, leading through consumer right product.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
This candidate will have superior streetwear trend acumen, understanding the consumers ecosystem of influence and how Jordan Apparel can achieve the ambition of becoming the #1 streetwear brand in the world! They will demonstrate leadership capability, including ability to empower and mentor others within work group while hitting key gates and dates. This person has high profile presentation and communication skills as well as experience researching consumer insights and translating into product solutions. This role requires a high workload capacity & resourcefulness no two days are the same!
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Youll be responsible for understanding the consumer plus analyzing product and trends in global markets. Youll apply expert professional understanding of product creation, delivery and pricing need of consumers, key markets and thoughtful decision making. You will be creating and communicating a vision for Product across the Jordan Apparel Offense, driven through end-in-mind storytelling and consumer-right product strategies. Youll also serve as the primary spokesperson at key product creation, CODE gates. Youll direct the global agreement of the product line, costing, and pricing based on consumer needs, key markets and channels. Youll cultivate execution of key initiatives.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will lead the product creation process through key interaction with Product, Design, Materials, Tech Design, Merchandising, Sourcing/Costing, Demand Planning and Operations. You will brief style/SKU level to optimize productivity, margin and revenue. In addition, youll also develop, maintain and foster key relationships between Global Apparel, Geo and X-Category Product Management teams at the appropriate level to ensure alignment and integration for key dates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Merchandising, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years experience in apparel or footwear product creation role and deep understanding of the product creation process
Demonstrate excellent and creative consumer / marketplace understanding
Experience, knowledge and passion for womens streetwear and the culture of Basketball
Demonstrate leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate, lead, negotiate and impact the triad
Excellent business management experience, analytical proficiency and understanding of retail math
Experience with Excel/Keynote/Miro/MMX
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
