Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated brand marketeer with a passion for the culture of sport and style, a curiosity for the 16-24 year old consumer, and an ability to uncover stories that will inspire and earn the respect of the next generation. A marketeer experienced in digital marketing and keen to reinvent the future of sport* and culture to serve our consumers at scale. A versatile individual who embodies the values that our company holds. The candidate should have a strong curiosity about style culture, sneakers, sport & innovation; and most importantly have their finger on the pulse of London.
What Will You Work on
As the London Lifestyle Brand Marketing Lead you are the part of the London Brand Management function, reporting directly to the London Lifestyle & Purpose Marketing Director. Your key priorities will be Air Max, Style Culture and One Lifestyle. In this role your core duties will include:
Leading and being responsible for the Air Max plans for FY24 and beyond. Build and execute seasonal marketing plans working with x-functional team across the city and EMEA with insights and data-led reporting
Working in partnership with SNKRS, CBM, NBHD and the Marketplace to set One Lifestyle marketing strategy rooted in consumer insight and future-proofing Nike in Londons culture
Identify, develop and cultivate a network of creative people/communities and using them across storytelling and the marketplace
Be the go-to figurehead to ensure x-functional alignment and leverage opportunities through every aspect that touches the Lifestyle space i.e. Sport Performance, CBM (Catalyst Brand Marketing), SM (Sports Marketing), SCI (Social, Community and Impact), SNKRS+NBHD and Marketplace Partners
Full ownership of Lifestyle city budget
Line management of Lifestyle Specialist
Who will you work with?
Work fluidly across the full London marketing team, as well as key partners like the Marketplace, Sports Marketing and Comms. The role also engage with the EMEA Lifestyle Marketing team across Mens and Womens, as well as Lifestyle Brand Management teams across the EMEA region!
The shape of your day-to-day work will vary significantly, and therefore your style and influence will have to adapt accordingly. You therefore are co, intuitive, and maximise the effectiveness of individual as well as collective thinking. You are open to the opinions and expertise of those you engage with in to apply coherent strategy and thinking that leads to new opportunities.
What You Bring To NIKE
A successful candidate will be expected to clearly demonstrate and articulate experience of the below essential requirements in order to be considered. Candidates that meet these criteria will then be assessed based on the competencies also outlined below.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 5 years experience in brand marketing, with a strong focus on cross-functional marketing
A proven track record of building consumer insight-led marketing plans which maximise asset partnerships in new and exciting ways
Prior experience in digital marketing and working with a connected digital ecosystem and membership proposition
Proven experience owning and managing external relationships with individuals and organizations
Prior marketing experience in London and a demonstrable understanding of the consumer, the city and Nikes position within it
Prior experience working in the world of Lifestyle, Fashion and/ or Sneaker culture
Proven experience in best in class communication, project and stakeholder management, and passion for corralling, organising and inspiring a cross-functional team
