We are looking for a passionate Engineering lead, to be a part of Nikes new Marketing Technology organization. You will play a critical role, in developing Nikes Customer Data platform, which supports and promotes our products and provides a unique user experience to all of our customers in 166 countries globally. This role will play a critical part in our one billion-dollar marketing plan which supports our direct-to-consumer initiative. This position requires technical curiosity and intuition for business along with strong engineering management skills. We want someone to drive, own, and ship all aspects of large, multi-functional efforts and feature areas. You will partner with engineering teams throughout feature development from architecture, design, implementation, and validation
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Plan strategies for the development of designs and products on schedule and on budget mainly on customer data platform.
Communicate and collaborate with other leads, stakeholders and contractors
Lead the Design, and Build large datasets, and data pipelines to support building out our new Customer Data Platform (CDP) which will enable advanced segmentation in Customer data platform, that creates unique customer experience targeting, automation, and analytics.
Gather and understand data requirements, build complex data pipelines for real time data,Click stream analysis and work to achieve high-quality data ingestion goals.
The product that you will be working on includes Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) , Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and Adobe Target.
The technology stack that you will be working on: Python, AirFlow, AWS, EMR, Databricks.
Innovating, architecting, designing, and implementing highly available, scalable systems, focusing on highly visible marketing initiatives
Contributing ideas for new features and identifying technical areas for improvement proactively
Collaborating with product team members at Nike to design, develop, and deploy a highly scalable digital system and services.
Collaborate with upstream and downstream technical teams to develop integrations to provide a seamless flow of our marketing assets from planning to delivery.
Provide technical leadership and best engineering practices to continuously deliver working software by mentoring other developers
As the engineering lead you will use your in-depth experience in software development to writing clean, tested, and well-documented code, as well as lead the peer code review process and mentor other engineers on the team.

WHAT YOU BRING
8 plus years of technology-related experience required
3 Years' Lead Experience Required
5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering developing full-stack software solutions.
Experience integrating with various Adobe toolset in the MarTech in particular Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Customer Journey Analytics(CJA) and Adobe Target.
Experience in microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful APIs
Experience in customizing product solutions.
Experience with GDPR and privacy enforcement.
Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles
The experience we are looking for: Python or Java, SQL, Data Engineering, experience with the following tools or similar: Airflow, EMR, Hive, Spark, or similar.
Marketing technology experience.
Hands-on experience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment with high transaction volumes
Familiarity with the challenge of moving large files across a geographically dispersed network. Knowledge of different accelerated transfer methods and technologies.
Experience with implementing CI/CD and leading teams with DevOps responsibilities of deploying and supporting the software in production
