Venice, CA based Arbor snowboards founded in 1995 has spent the last 10 years building a brand around great product, while maintaining it’s commitment to the use of environmentally friendly elements from the natural world in order to improve performance, increase durability and generate a standout level of style. Arbor’s premier store, which will be located at our Venice beach headquarters, will showcase Arbor products – snowboards, skateboards, and apparel.

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our rapidly growing brand, and manage all aspects of our new showroom / retails space and help Arbor use this space to drive awareness for the brand from this high-traffic international destination.

Salary based on experience – profit sharing and benefits included.

Job Description:
1. Manage and monitor sales productivity of store
2. Maintain store expenses within established budget
3. Manage store staffing duties and develop work schedules for store employees
4. Monitor all assignments and activities of store employees
5. Provide training and motivation for new employees
6. Analyze merchandise assortment and sizes
7. Ensure proper sales set up of store and maintenance of sales floor
8. Ensure store is properly stocked at all times
9. Manage all promotions and marketing for the store
10. Monitor and ensure compliance with company’s goal of acceptable shrink levels
11. Work closely with Arbor’s local dealers to help drive their Arbor business
12. Weekly meetings with principals to go over sales figures and reports


JOB QUALIFICATIONS
1. Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or four years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, trade journals, technical information, and regulations
3. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
4. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, clients, reps, and the general public
5. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, clients, and members of the business community
6. Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interests, commissions, and percentages
7. Ability to promote strong customer service skills.
