Job Description:
SCOTT Sports is looking to add a highly motivated Independent Field Sales Representative to cultivate, manage, maximize sales, and build positive relationships with all accounts in the territory.
This position reports to the Regional Wintersports Sales Manager.
Primary Job Duties:
- Regular travel to dealers throughout assigned territory
- Effective, direct communications with dealers and Scott
- Develop and maintain accurate forecasting process with dealers
- Strong sales, customer service, negotiation and closing skills
- Identify and access stable territory growth
- Provide key market and competitor information from the field
- Demo a wide variety of products in account shops as well as on-snow to display their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Attend dealer events, trade shows and annual sales meetings
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the winter, action sports and/or outdoor industries
- Solid understanding of the needs, trends, etc. of the company’s core consumer
