Five Ten is a family-owned company that is dedicated to making the best outdoor sports footwear available. Five Ten was founded by Charles Cole in 1985. Now, the Redlands, California-based company makes shoe with their proprietary Stealth rubber for a variety of outdoor disciplines.
We are looking for an Inventory Analyst / Planner to join our team in Redlands, CA.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
+ Strong analytical, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Computer proficiency, Excel a must.
+ Experience with ERP systems, ACCPAC a plus.
+ CPIM or other relevant certificate a plus.
+ Footwear and/or Outdoor Industry experience a plus.
+ Background/experience in Five Ten’s markets a plus.
The analyst/ planner is responsible for managing worldwide production planning to meet customer demand by way of planning and analyzing relevant data in considering assortments, market conditions, and trends. This position controls the master planning production schedule and purchasing of product. Continuous communication with the sales team is required in maintaining such plans along with managing the forecasting process, in conjunction with the sales team, to reach the company’s projected sales goals. Other responsibilities include: maintain inventory accuracy, issue PO’s, receive product, and coordinate product launches with marketing/sales team.
Duties and Responsibilities
PLANNER
• Manage forecasting process during quarterly meetings, or as needed.
• Collaborate with sales team to develop a worldwide forecast.
• Analyze actual sales vs projected forecasted demand
• Create & execute demand/production plans as well as priority needs
• Create master planning production schedule.
• Manage inventory levels, purchase quantity and allocation to maximize sales and inventory turns
• Issue & maintain PO’s with vendors
INVENTORY CONTROL
• Data/entry maintenance of IC module: build skus, build UPC codes and create UPC labels, update price lists, locations, vendor details…
• Review exception reports such as zero costs/negative quantity and notify necessary departments to rectify exceptions
• Perform necessary adjustments and transfers of inventory.
• Oversee quarterly inventory counts in coordination with the warehouse manager
SUPPLY CHAIN
• Import/Export/Customs clearance of product
• Maintain vendor relations
• Manage logistics on inbound product
• Continuously review shipping agents and lanes.
