CONTIKI HOLIDAYS, the world’s biggest travel company for 18-35 year olds is expanding its marketing department. We are currently seeking a Brand Manager to support the Marketing & Sales Teams in executing company focus, goals & day to day activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Brand Manager will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for managing the brand efforts.
The Brand Manager is the leader of the brand's long term and & annual planning. The Brand Manager must possess strong leadership skills as he/she is ultimately responsible for achieving brand goals. The Brand Manager is the "brand champion" responsible for the leadership and execution of all of the marketing.
The primary responsibilities centering around:
-Strategy development and program implementation
-Development and execution of brand marketing programs
-New product development and launch
-Web Marketing
-Viral Marketing
-Social network Marketing
-PR
Lead the advertising creative and commercial production process including the day-to-day management of the advertising agencies.
Additional responsibilities may include attending customer calls and assisting in cross category/cross brand new product development
* Category budget responsibility
* Management of additional brand marketing projects
* Working well in a team environment with internal and
external partners: operations, field marketing and outside agencies and vendors
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience in Youth Marketing/Product Marketing.
•Strong experience handling: market research public relations promotions teams advertising.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field is preferred.
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
•Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with management and external resources.
•Ability to effectively collaborate in decision-making and motivation of others, especially during difficult situations or on tough organizational issues.
•Eager willingness to learn and apply proven marketing strategies and concepts.
•Excellent people skills with the ability to influence individuals/teams.
•Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and the Internet is required.
