General Manager (Retail)

Paliskates is seeking a high energy, highly motivated, strong work ethic, outgoing person with a passion for fashion, knowledge of the skating community/brands, high fashion and preferably retail sales experience.

General Sales Manager (FULL TIME):

* Minimum 3 years retail sales management experience
* Merchandising training and experience
* Buying experience
* Proven Track record of consistently exceeding sales goals
* Strong knowledge of the current fashion/ skate industry
* Superior References

The ideal person for this career opportunity would have a love of selling, is trustworthy, experience in hiring and sales training, ability to motivate a team, run the sales floor, motivated to make $$$, handle day to day store/employee issues, develop and create client relationships! We want someone who understands that there is more to sales than just waiting for a customer to walk in the door and when they do, they understand how to "create the best shopping experience" for the client! The GM would also assist the owner in buying (which means staying with current fashion trends both in the skate industry and the high fashion world) and merchandising the store.

Must have availability on weekends!

This position is hourly, plus commission.
