TEN: The Enthusiast Network is seeking a full-time Managing Editor, GrindTV for the Irvine, CA office.

With more than 60 publications, 100 Web sites, the world’s largest automotive VOD channel, 800 branded products, 50+ events, TV and radio programs, TEN creates and delivers content that informs, entertains, inspires and connects with enthusiasts every day.
POSITION SUMMARY //
The Managing Editor, GrindTV will be responsible for editing and publishing daily content from staff writers, as well as contributors, while ensuring the content matches the brand’s voice. This position reports to the General Manager however, they will work closely and execute daily tasks assigned by the Editor. Applicants must have a strong digital writing background with experience in WordPress, SEO, social media, and Google Analytics. The Managing Editor will be responsible for the various duties, but not limited to:
• Hosting daily content meetings with the General Manager, Editor, Assistant Editor, and Social Media Editor on content schedule, as well as what content is on the horizon.
• Prioritizes and edits content in a timely and efficient way.
• Assigns, collects, and has final edits on daily content.
• Responsible for gathering media content when necessary.
• Responsible for ensuring contributors are hitting their daily posting requirements and site is flush with new content.
• Monitors the submission of copy and photographs for each article to ensure the completeness of the package.
• Responsible for site maintenance: updating mantles, don’t miss, and trending section.
• If performance on new content is low, Managing Editor is responsible for updating title, sub-title, and featured image to improve numbers.
• Assists the Editor in updating and managing the content calendar, as well as the pitch spreadsheet.
• Writes features when applicable.
