Marketing Manager I

Primary Responsibility: Develop and drive strategy and execution of PR, promotion, entertainment and cause marketing elements across all brands within the Collective Licensing International brand portfolio.

Detailed Responsibilties:
-PR. On a seasonal basis create and execute the PR strategy for each brand within Collective’s portfolio. This strategy should support the goals and objectives of the overall marketing strategy for each brand.

-PR. Help to create and manage the budget for PR for each brand within Collective’s portfolio.

-Promotion. On a seasonal basis create and execute the promotion strategy for each brand within Collective’s portfolio. This strategy should support the goals and objectives of the overall marketing strategy for each brand.

-Promotion. Help to create and manage the budget for promotions for each brand within Collective’s portfolio.

-Entertainment. On a seasonal basis create and execute the entertainment marketing strategy for each brand within Collective’s portfolio. This strategy should support the goals and objectives of the overall marketing strategy for each brand.

-Entertainment. Help to create and manage the budget for entertainment marketing for each brand within Collective’s portfolio.

-Cause. On a seasonal basis create and execute the cause marketing strategy for each brand within Collective’s portfolio. This strategy should support the goals and objectives of the overall marketing strategy for each brand.

-Cause. Help to create and manage the budget for cause marketing for each brand within Collective’s portfolio.

-Serve as the direct liaison between Collective and outside vendors, agencies and consultants that are used in the development of PR, promotion, entertainment and cause marketing strategies. Manage the relationship, timeline and budget associated with doing business with these groups.

-Work closely with the Collective team to insure that all marketing strategies are optimized within the integrated plan. For example, making sure press releases are written and broadcast for all pro team developments. Working with the web marketing team to insure all promotion, entertainment and cause efforts are being communicated via each brand’s web platform.

-Licensee relationships. Work with and communicate regularly with each brand’s licensees regarding PR, promotion, entertainment and cause marketing strategies and tactics. Find ways to leverage Collective’s efforts with our licensing partners in their markets.

-Presentation. Prepare and give presentations regarding a brand’s PR, promotion, entertainment and cause marketing strategies and tactics. Audiences may include Collective management, licensee’s, retailers or media outlets.

Requirements:

-Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field. At least three (3) years experience working in marketing, brand development, PR or related field.

-Experience creating and editing copy for press releases and other marketing support tools.

-Experience and familiarity with marketing to board sport culture and/or youth culture.
