DARC SPORT in Torrance is seeking a Marketing Assistant. The Marketing Assistant will support the strategic planning in the Marketing department. Duties include but not limited to tasks such as creating mailers, setting up photoshoots and expos, and managing athletes and ambassadors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Properly create, coordinate and track digital marketing campaigns using tools such as Shopify, Mailchimp, and Instagram
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager to create strategic marketing plans to drive sales for new upcoming products
• Manage and direct Darc Sport Athletes and Ambassadors to successfully reach their monthly duties and obligations
• Plan and coordinate major Darc Sport events such as photoshoot and expos
• Assists the Marketing/Athlete Manager on a daily basis by providing updates and discussing scheduling plans
• Excellent follow up skills
• Other tasks may be assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• 2+ years of demonstrable Marketing experience
• Shopify experience preferred
• Mailchimp experience preferred
• Social Media Analytics experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook or related software
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, a people person with positive attitude
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to details
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously
• Ability to communicate and work well with co-workers, and athletes/ambassadors in a courteous and professional manner
• Familiar to the sport of bodybuilding and fitness preferred
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor degree preferred, related certificate helpful
2+ years of experience with strong knowledge in Marketing.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
