The prime goal of the Marketing Coordinator role is to have a satisfied sales force. The Marketing Coordinator is to execute marketing strategies to generate brand awareness, positive brand perception, and drive increased distribution to the retail channels. The Marketing Coordinator provides critical communications to the rest of the Marketing & Sales teams. In addition, the Marketing Coordinator must own the timeline, completion responsibility, and budget for many projects to be carried out in a self-directed and self-managed manner. The market environment, as created by the actions of the Marketing Coordinator, leads to a very favorable situation where the market buys the product as opposed to the salespeople actively selling the product. Accordingly, the marketing actions initiated by the Marketing Coordinator contribute to shorter sales cycles and higher sales revenue over a period of time.
a) Create and maintain yearly marketing calendar with Marketing Director. Replicate calendar into presentations for use by sales.
b) Coordinate trade shows and promotions designed to meet trade show goals.
c) Create dealer workbooks, sales sheets, new product presentations, price lists and programs for the International and U.S. markets as needed. Provide sales presentation, sell sheets and other collateral material for National and Regional Sales Managers in preparation for sales meetings and rep training. Including brand books and presentations.
d) Update CRM with prospect leads as they are acquired. Pull email and mailing lists from CRM for email and direct mail campaigns. Develop expertise in CRM to run marketing campaigns from the CRM.
e) Execute (with assistance of web manager and Marketing Director) and report on email campaigns to dealer and prospect database in support of new product launches, trade show and sales promotions.
f) Work closely with sales team to develop a yearly calendar of sales promotions, email, and direct mail campaigns to specific channels to help drive sales to meet forecasts. Meet with sales team monthly ( at a minimum) to review promotions, trade shows and key account sales calls for effectiveness and ROI.
g) Create and execute product promotions events with AMK customers as needed to drive new product promotions and meet forecasted sales.
h) Maintain a digital assets database of lifestyle images, image usage contracts, product images and other.
i) Communicate marketing activities to company thru weekly emails and intranet site.
j) Develop and document program for product sponsorship of athletes. Work with AMK sponsored athletes on contracts, product requests, testimonials, feedback, catalog and web images, and trade show appearances.
k) Provide monthly dashboard reports as directed by Marketing Director
l) Assists Marketing Director with development and maintenance of department budget.
