The Dumbell Man has been a leader in the commercial exercise arena for over 22 years, with distribution centers in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas. We are seeking an innovative Marketing Manager to create, execute, and manage a full complement of print and digital marketing and advertising campaigns.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized professional with specific and relevant marketing experience. As an expert in your field, you will have a keen understanding of the marketing and sales process, be a creative team player, and have excellent communication skills. It will serve you well to be a flexible self-starter driven to take on additional responsibility.
As a dynamic participant in the development and growth of The Dumbell Man brand, we expect you to be an active and involved member of the fitness and wellness community, supporting your ability to create relevant and compelling content for our clients and partners.
Job Requirements:
• Marketing / advertising background including planning and execution
• Adept at managing social media and all forms of digital communication, web optimization
• Content creation experience with both traditional and social media channels
• Maintain marketing strategies that are consistent with TDM branding and consumers
• Strong inside / outside sales experience with excellent customer service
• Adaptability to changing deadlines and conditions
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties, responsibilities, and schedules
• Comfortable interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Highly computer literate with an excellent command of the English language
Job Responsibilities:
• Support the President’s sales efforts through ongoing communication and follow-up
• Develop, maintain and promote social media campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blogs, etc.)
• Create and implement ongoing search engine optimization (SEO) and website visibility / ranking plans
• Perform ongoing website analytics, ranking reports, and statistical analysis
• Develop, execute, and track print media advertising campaigns
• Manage and cultivate TDM’s online presence through relevant channels
• Field incoming media requests and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Provide relevant, professional, and timely feedback to social media inquiries and comments
• Design and create press releases, event summaries, and maintain event calendars
• Expertly handle customer service issues and relay appropriate commentary to management
• Distribute information about products and services to new and existing customers
• Maintain awareness of new and emerging marketing trends relative to the industry
Compensation:
• Base Salary + Bonus
