The Lip Care Marketing Manager will execute key strategies and tactics that drive awareness of and build credibility/buzz around the brand and support sales and profit goals. They will partner closely with our Sales team on best-in-class retail partnerships and programs; fuel consumer engagement through events and community-focused activations throughout the year; help launch category and market-disrupting brand campaigns through paid media and grassroots/guerilla-style tactics and perform research and analysis to guide future brand development.
• Brand Execution: Act with urgency, scrappiness and unwavering commitment/tenacity to drive momentum for and around the brand. Bring a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude each day and be a positive source of energy for the Brand – driving to action and results. Support Marketing leadership on all things Lip Care, enrolling cross-functional partners to execute meaningful programs and product launches that drive high growth for the brand.
• Cross-functional leadership: Collaborate with sales, ops, finance and development teams to ensure execution of key programs and deliverables and consistency with brand strategic guidelines.
• Customer/Shopper Marketing: 1) Support planning and execution of customer marketing programming for key retailers. 2) Manage promotion and coupon programs. 3) Help develop and execute sales/trade materials including mock ups, sell sheets and samples.
• Innovation: Partner with Product Development team on identifying portfolio gaps and high-growth pipeline ideation opportunities and the validation and execution of projects.
• Influencer Marketing & Outreach: Partner with fellow Marketing Manager and Social Media coordinator in coordination of ongoing Influencer outreach/engagement to promote, engage and amplify our core community.
• Events Marketing: Guide coordination of brand events including in-store, PR and grassroots/consumer-driven events; also provide support to Events team for tradeshows. Responsible for amplifying content captured at events to drive broader awareness and buzz around the brand.
• Analytics: Support Marketing leadership with ongoing analysis and presentation of business performance assessments. Help analyze brand volume distribution/pricing trends on a local market and national level. Also provide ongoing competitive analysis (to keep a pulse on the competitive landscape).
• Consumer Insights: Gather consumer insights through quantitative and qualitative data sources, using both formal and informal, scrappy approaches. Translate data into actionable insights that optimize marketing.
• Brand Advocate: Act as a champion for the brand, regularly presenting brand positioning, programming and performance success stories across internal and external audiences.
