Seattle-based Low Pressure Studio, home to some of the leading brands in the snowboard industry, is looking for a talented and experienced Marketing Manager for Nidecker Snowboards to join our team and lead the marketing efforts for our snowboard brand.
As the Marketing Manager, you'll have the thrilling task of developing and executing marketing strategies for North America, creating brand awareness, engaging with our target audience, and managing athlete communication. Tasks
Carve the Perfect Marketing Strategy:
• Collaborate with our HQ in Switzerland to craft and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that promote Nidecker & Flow Brands, increase brand awareness, and drive customer acquisition and retention.
• Define target market segments, positioning, and messaging strategies to effectively communicate the brand's value proposition.
Brand Identity:
• Develop and maintain a strong brand identity for our snowboard brand, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication channels.
• Oversee the development and execution of brand guidelines, ensuring that all marketing materials reflect the brand's values, tone, and visual identity.
• Memorable Marketing Campaigns and Promotions:
• Plan, execute, and measure the success of marketing campaigns across various channels, and specially digital advertising, social media, email marketing, events, and partnerships.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling and engaging marketing content, including videos, images, and copywriting.
Embrace the Digital Ride:
• Drive the North America digital marketing strategy, including website reviews, user experience enhancement and email marketing.
• Oversee the e-commerce platform and optimize the online shopping experience to maximize conversions and sales.
• Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to leverage new opportunities and optimize digital marketing efforts.
Partner with the Snowboarding Community:
• Seek out strategic partnerships, collaborations, and sponsorship opportunities that elevate our brand's visibility and reach new audiences.
• Coordinate and manage the logistics for events, such as product demos, team summits, and major snowboarding events, ensuring our brand shines
• Manage relationships with industry influencers, athletes, and brand ambassadors, leveraging their networks to amplify the brand's message.
• Manage promotional product marketing functions including inventory, placing orders, logistics, budgeting, and reporting.
• Facilitate and strengthen brand activations at key retail accounts through campaigns, POP, and window programs
• Ability and willingness to travel, representing the company at industry events, trade shows or other snowboard community meetings.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. A focus in business, marketing, and communications is preferred
• A deep understanding of the endemic snowboard space, including media, athletes, events, and products. You can create industry relationships when necessary.
• Experience in event planning and logistics, ensuring we carve out unforgettable experiences.
• Ability to manage budgets and prioritize investments that align with strategic objectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Availability to travel frequently, as our snowboarding adventures extend beyond our office
• Flexibility in work hours due to collaboration with European HQ
• In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies, techniques, and best practices.
• Proficient with marketing tools and platforms – Microsoft 365 products, Google products, Keynote and Notions or similar.
