The Marketing Manager plays a key role on the PEARL iZUMi brand marketing team. The primary function of this role is to increase our brand’s exposure, affinity, and relevance to existing and new audiences through managing athlete relationships, building and fostering ambassador program, and owning organic social channels. The ideal candidate will be an expert spokesperson for the PEARL iZUMi brand, who can translate key brand and product messaging points through the above channels and to the consumer. As a passionate cyclist, this person understands the cycling industry and the culture that surrounds it and is able to determine what opportunities exist for our brand to break through. 
This role interacts cross-functionally with brand marketing, e-commerce, and the go-to-market teams to support company objectives while ensuring consistency in the voice and tone to ensure the brand is uniquely supported and represented across all channels. 
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for connecting brands to consumers via social media, athletes and ambassadors, and community events combined with business savvy skills for leveraging creative partnerships and promotions while engaging in an authentic way.  This role is key in representing our consumers’ experience.  
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
 Organic Social Media 
Develop and maintain a high level of community engagement across all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok) in support of growth objectives that result in increased brand advocacy and awareness. 
Own and develop the social media calendar, including monthly meetings to review plans and gather input. 
Collaborate with internal creative services team on current trends and planning content creation needs. 
Execute growth campaigns each month with and/or without brand partners or influencers. 
Be on the forefront of social trends, technology, and tools. 
Develop a dashboard and own reporting and analysis of all organic social channels. 
Prepare analytics and insights reviews (monthly, quarterly, annually) across platforms with actions for growth, engagement, new followers, and top performing creative. 
    Athletes 
Build and manage relationships with athletes, monitor/track their obligations, and communicate regularly to ensure we are aware of race and training schedules, media appearances, and more.  
Identify opportunities to grow athlete network and leverage synergies. 
Identify core list of athletes that align with the brand, and brand objectives, to grow awareness in the cycling category, and customer acquisition. 
     Ambassadors 
Build and manage relationships with ambassadors, monitor/track their obligations, and communicate regularly. 
Work with Ambassadors to build branded moments in each of their home markets.  
Manage content sharing between Ambassadors and the brand.  
POSITION SPECIFICS: 
This is a full-time position. 
Typical work hours and days are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
This position is based out of the Fountain Valley, CA office, but eligible to work remote from time to time. 
25% travel is expected for this position. 
Pay Transparency
The Company is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
The salary range for this role in Fountain Valley, CA is $75,000 – $90,000.
In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including health & wellness benefits, retirement, time off, employee discounts, and others.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
This position does not have any leadership requirements and/or responsibilities.
