We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist for our Consumer Business Unit in Vista, CA for BluPrint Footwear.

BluPrint is a clever new lifestyle footwear brand inspired by today’s comfort causal footwear trends.

Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for tactical execution relating to brand development, execution, and communication. These responsibilities include facilitating brand activation in market, product line market release, event production, and all forms of collateral & communications relating to promotions, messaging, and field sales tools. This is position is expected to execute strategy under the supervision of Brand Directors. Other responsibilities will include traditional marketing execution, strategy creation, content creation, budget management, facilitating creative resources, developing in store collateral and POP, driving product placement efforts, and establishing calendars for advertising, events, promotions etc.

Essential Job Functions:

Brand Management
• Confer with product design & development, sales, and retail customers in order to become knowledgeable about market trends report information to management and recommend features to Consumer design and Engineering resources.
• Manage the marketing strategy/vision in coordination with Brand Directors from inception all the way through execution.
• Actively participate and/or lead regular meetings with cross-functional product team members follow up on action items.
• Participate in the development and execution of plans for new product launch, consolidation and product line extensions.

Marketing Communications
• Participate in sales presentations, tradeshows, and events designed to make retailers and sales associates competent in the intended use of the products
• Participate in sales meetings and seminar designed to make selling agents competent to sell the product:
• Write guidelines and manage product placement strategy with media outlets including traditional, social, content, and print.
• Manage timelines for marketing/advertising plans including creative deadlines
• Present product information (for new and existing products) to agents and retailers at line showings and account meetings.
• Manage digital creative efforts and serve as the liaison between brand and the digital/e-comm team
• Oversee content marketing strategies, develop content with studio manager, write and edit blog posts and other relevant marketing materials
• Manage public relations activations including but not limited to press release writing, media relations, and product seeding
• Coordinate trade show and event activations including brand image, activations and on-site engagement
• Manage brand athletes and ambassadors
