Dickies EMEA is looking for an exceptional Merchandising Manager to join our Merch team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role
Your role is to build assortments and collection plans in line with the Dickies strategy, by obtaining a deep understanding of the market situation, needs and product performance. You translate the results of these analyses into a seasonal Merchandising Plan with strong briefing/guidance towards the Global Product team in order for them to translate this briefing into a physical product offer.
How You Will Make a Difference
Analyse:
! Collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data:
! Competition: understand the needs of the target consumers and competitive environment by regular market visits and research
! Market: maintain constant awareness of market requirements working closely with our sales team as well as the Marketplace Merchandiser
! Sales: continuous follow ups of the sales forecasts and performance of each channel and category
! Product: in depth analyse of the product life cycle and SKU efficiency
! Financial performance: control margin performance, set price points and manage the pricing strategy accordingly
Plan:
! Map clearly the market situation per category and areas
! Define potential growth areas and/or missed opportunity
! Translate the insights into a seasonal merchandising plan (Blueprint)– framing the product offer linked to the ideal distribution
! Define and plan the special projects calendar – in terms of collaborations and SMU
Brief:
! Work in close collaboration with Global Product Team (Design, Development and Merchandising) department to translate the market needs into physical projects
! Constantly assess and redirect the seasonal developments and designs following the line meetings and market feedback
! Responsible to link with our different sales partners to create collaborative working methods
! Ensure that the brand Marketing team is briefed, has the requested content, and build the tools according the original creative direction of each project
Execute:
! Guarantee the execution on GTM strategy for each seasonal launch
! Ensure a correct implementation of the collection through merchandising guidelines and products/collection sales sheets
! Deliver and support presentations to the sales force for local meetings, collection previews and prelines
! Ensure a constant evaluation of launched items by seeking market feedback and product performance checks
Skills for Success
! Min of 4 years experience in a Product / Buying/ Merchandising position
! Be able to think strategically and execute tactically, possess a persistent attention to detail
! Strong organizational and time management skills
! Commercial eye- ability to spot the next trend
! Analytical skills: Ability to analyse both quantitative and qualitative data is key
! Excel and PLM skills are a plus
