Job Summary:
We are offering a highly visible, temporary internship with our Nielsen Business Media Sports Group brands (ASR, Outdoor Retailer, Interbike, Health and Fitness and Fly-Fishing Retailer). The Intern will assist with specific projects within the Sports Group Marketing department such as, research, compiling data and updating customer databases with client information, contacting clients to assist them with registering to attend our events, basic customer service, sales support and coordinating direct marketing email, postal, print and website marketing campaigns. This position will work under the direct supervision of the events marketing managers.
Skills:
- Basic customer service skills
- Microsoft word, excel, power point proficient
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees and clients
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Time management - Follows through with all tasks, assignments and job duties in a timely manner
- Good organizational skills
Experience:
- Years of Related Professional Experience: 0 – 1
- High School graduate
- Currently in College pursuing a degree or recent graduate
