ASR is seeking a Group Show Director to join the VNU Expositions Senior Management team in San Juan Capistrano, Ca.

We are offering an excellent opportunity to apply your action sports industry business knowledge and experience to be in a leadership role and be responsible for all aspects of a group of trade shows, including strategic planning, financial management, sales and marketing planning and execution as well as business development.

Responsible for the strategic vision, marketing direction, sales strategy, show management, budget and financial management of portfolio.

Additionally, includes providing direction and leading a team to ensure overall goals are achieved. Reports directly to Group President.

Qualifications:
• Minimum B.A./B.S. Degree
• MBA preferred
• Action Sports marketplace knowledge and proven business experience
• Minimum 10 years in tradeshows, or industry specific markets
• Minimum 7 years people management experience
• Extensive Sales and Marketing leadership experience with proven track record
• Ability to travel- at least 35%
• Excellent customer relationship and management skills
• Excellent leadership skills:
-Executive presentation and professional demeanor
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
