Responsibilities:
-- Retailer Training – Train and advise retailers on products to ensure brand understanding and demonstrate key points of difference to the competition
-- Manage vehicle budgets
-- Responsible for event travel scheduling
-- Merchandising – provide POP, new video content and SWAG to retailers maintenance on displays
-- Analysis and review of events – provide analysis on event success and measurement of results

-- Business Building
+ Target and open new accounts
+ Utilize tools and tactic to drive vertical growth
+ Partner with sales to implement strategies and tactics to drive Contour sales
-- Relationship Building Activities
+ Routinely engage in activities to build relationships with key influencers in accounts and territory
+ Act as a Brand Ambassador for the Contour brand
+ Develop relative industry relationships (athletes, promoters, endemic magazines, etc.) that result in business building initiatives
+ Develop and implement incentives and staff activities for key customers

-- Mobile Demo Tour
+ Coordinate with the retailer on site to sell cameras
+ Manage, coordinate and execute all demo events
+ Proactively search for creative elements to add to supported events that drive Contour's brand image
+ Set-up and tear down events
+ Manage swag and camera inventories
+ Report any product and equipment issues
+ Works as part of the team to ensure execution against key events/activities sometimes outside everyday responsibilities
+ Provide feedback and ideas about how to improve on event results

-- Driver
+ Be responsible for the company Sprinter Van including tune ups, repairs, and maintenance
+ Drive the vehicle to and from each event
+ Navigate between each event location
+ Ensure all electronics are properly working on the vehicle

Location:
This position must be based out of the East Coast no relocation available to transfer candidates from other locations.

Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge:
-- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience
-- 2+ years’ experience in a sales position with a strong track record of success
-- 1+ year experience working events in the adventure sports market
-- must hold a valid US driver’s license and excellent driving record
-- Understanding of camera/video technology
-- Ability to be flexible and come up with a plan B when things don’t go as planned
-- Strong analytical skills and the ability to negotiate.
-- Excellent communication and active listening skills
-- Positive attitude and ability to engage others and easily build trust and rapport
-- Creative, solution-oriented mindset
-- Self-motivated and able to work independently
-- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
-- Must be able to comfortably lift up to 50 pounds

Travel:
Up to 75% travel must be willing to be on the road for 3 weeks out of a month and able to drive for long periods of time.
