Assistant Production Coordinator / Merchandiser
TCW Trends Inc. was formed in California specifically to offer Design merchandising and production in various countries’s including Duty Free Production for the United States Market Place in The Apparel Industry. We have been in business over the past 10 years and currently our clients include not only action sports wear companies but private labels.
TCW Trends, Inc. client base includes many action sports brands and surf brands.
We are currently searching for fresh graduates and experienced and detail oriented Assistant Production Coordinator / Merchandiser to assist with pre-production/production.
Ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a positive attitude. Must be driven, motivated, and posses a strong desire to learn. Multi-tasking and prioritizing is key.
Responsibilities include but not limited to::
• Assist in product development and quality control
• Preparing and/or revising tech specks
• Check-in garments (q/c of measuring, construction, embellishments)
Daily communication via email and phone with customer and over seas office’s
Requirements:
• This candidate should have 1 to 2 years experience
• Prefer strong technical skills with spec and fit knowledge a plus.
•Should have basic knowledge of garment construction, materials, and manufacturing techniques, costing
• Position requires multi-tasking with the ability to be a responsible and self motivated.
• Must be reliable (including transportation)
•Team player with a good attitude with the willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty
