This position supports the Marketing Team in the processing and creation of concepts and artwork for delivery. Projects include production of print catalogs, POS, seasonal workbooks, web projects and other print collateral designs as needed. This person works closely with the marketing team to make sure all creative projects are completed on time and are print ready. The position carries a heavy production work load and requires a can do attitude with strong communication skills. The ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently is essential.
Essential Functions:
• Prepare, organize and set-up print ready artwork for seasonal catalogs, workbooks and print collateral.
• Assist in the color correction, retouching and manipulation of select product assets and digital imagery.
• Build, maintain and release digital files for pre press hand off from graphic designers.
• Assist in the creation of graphic assets as needed in coordination with the graphic designers. This includes sketches, comps, layouts, large format banners, web images, packaging, typography and decals.
• Maintain all history of layout revisions and communicate all missing items to team while handling multiple jobs at one time.
• Work closely with marketing team and art department to implement changes in a timely manner.
Experience and Qualifications:
• 2 to 3 years of experience in graphic design / production art
• Bachelors Degree, preferably in Graphic Design or equal combination of experience and education.
• Strong understanding of print production process.
• Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Working knowledge of HTML. Understands web design to the point of creating files that are easily handed to the web team for implementation.
• Organized, detail oriented and self motivated works well with others and is comfortable with a team-based work structure ability to remain flexible.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and ability to meet multiple deadlines on time.
• A strong willingness to learn and stay current in digital design trends.
• Pursues passions that are related to our products and philosophy.
• Positive attitude, quick on their feet and believes in a healthy lifestyle.
