Contribute to the work of creating the top of mind Outdoor Sports positioning for Suunto, Salomon Outdoor and Salomon Nordic and seek to increase respective brand businesses and equities by implementing the Go-To-Market platform for the categories. Contribute to the development of trade and consumer assets for the categories.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

• Collaborate with other members of the Marketing, Sales and Product teams to ensure the company’s broader business objectives are regarded.
• Manage the work as assigned within the department and as appropriate work with sales reps, vendors, agencies, trade organizations, etc.
• Contribute to creation and animation marketing dashboard with key performance indicators.
• Contribute to creation and updating of project plans and timelines, monitor progress and track budget as assigned. Brief Outdoor Brand Manager and MarCom Manager on project and budget status, alerting them of potential cost/time overruns.
• Assist with development of Point of Purchase strategy and briefs.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product and Sales Departments on KOTF training tools, contests, etc.
• Liason with e-commerce team to help grow and utilize Suunto & Salomon B2C platforms and databases.
• Give presentations at sales meetings on marketing tools as needed. Provide presentation support for Sales team.
• Provide support to Sports Marketing group for events, athletes and promotional items.
• Produce and distribute marketing newsletters for respective categories.
• Enter and track promotional orders in SAP.
• Work closely with Brand Manager, Sports Marketing Associate and PR Firm to develop and implement key messaging for blogs, social media, brand websites, etc.
• Fulfill material, product and other ad hoc needs for media, events, sales reps, and retailers.
• Work closely with Marketing, Product and Sales Departments to develop overview of NA Market needs, analysis of market share, competitor business, brand audits, etc.
• Support HQ staff with focus groups as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.


Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field. Minimum 2 years experience in the Outdoor industry. Retail experience a plus. Active participant in related sports a plus.

• Strong Microsoft Office, SAP and Comfil skills.
• Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.
