Divisional Vice President - Global Sourcing & Product Development

Strategically develop and execute the commercialization and engineering of the Outerwear, Active wear, Gear and Home product to meet design vision, merchant requirements and company financial goals.

Core Accountabilities:
* Develop and lead the product development and production process to execute the commercialization and engineering of the product to meet design vision, merchant requirements and company financial goals.
* Lead the Global Sourcing direct vendor model, coordinating the business teams' efforts and providing clear communication and direction.
* Direct the Global Sourcing Sportswear team in the creation of strategy, seasonal plans, and financial targets.
* Execute Global Sourcing initiatives to align with Eddie Bauer business priorities and the company's competitive positioning
* Evolve Global Sourcing execution to establish the authenticity, authority and personality the Eddie Bauer Brand.
* Establish and manage development, planning and execution in alignment with the corporate calendar
* Build effective internal and external partnerships and actively promote cross-functional collaboration to insure business goals are achieved
* Lead a world-class Global Sourcing organization that delivers quality products with on time delivery.
* Recruit, identify, and develop Global Sourcing management team to lead, motivate and inspire performance excellence.
* Establish and adhere to the Global Sourcing Sportswear budget.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Education/Experience Required:
* 4 year college degree
* 10-15 years experience in product development, production or sourcing
* Experience in overseas travel and working directly with Vendors
* Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
* Exceptionally strong problem solving and negotiating skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Travel required
