WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nikes Distributed Workforce Offense program is seeking a collaborative Internal Communications Manager to bring Nikes Technology Development Centers to life. We need self-starters who can partner with key leaders across a range of functions, including HR, Geo Leaders, WD+C, and Global Technology, to deliver strategic communications, drive organization engagement, and identify opportunities to showcase internal team and talent.
The Internal Communications Manager will partner across with Technology Center leaders, internal DWO Workstreams, and local enabling functions to develop and deliver a comprehensive communications strategy for our employees.
This person wont experience the same day twice. Applicants have proven ability to work in fast-paced, results-oriented environment. This person has strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. They must take the initiative, follow-through on requests until completing, and utilize a keen attention to detail. The Internal Comms Manager is an integral part of our team and helps support the delivery of critical workstreams. They will demonstrate effect partnership strategies to work with our project/program managers, workstream leads, analysts, and senior leadership to deliver results.
Candidates are used to continuous self-monitoring of results, through quantitative measurement, when possible, to determine the efficacy of strategies and tactics employed and to identify when and how to tailor efforts

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting two of our five Technology Centers located in India and Poland. You will be responsible for developing and driving strategic communications that help shape the vision and understanding of that Technology Center. You will assist with the delivery of strategic communications, engagement communications, coordinate project deliverables, act as a liaison between technology teams and stakeholders and partner with Transition Management to influence our engagement strategy.
You will support local leaders to build and execute their communications strategy at our Tech Centes while also supporting our global communication team on enterprise deliverables. You will assist with event production, intranet content (Workvivo), and strategic communications. You act as the communications lead for our internal team providing thorough review and editing of internal comms and support communications activities such as: presentation materials, status reports, feature stories, and newsletters.
You will partner with content experts in WHQ, India, and Poland. You will lead and leverage communication for your assigned centers that activate the program through Program Management, Process Excellence, Transition Management, Communications, and thought leadership.
Expect variety in your day-to-day work experiences. Your contributions are a cornerstone for one of Global Technologys five Transformational Initiatives at Nike, and the role requires thoughtful approaches and creative solutions to achieve success.

In this role, you will be a part of the Technology Center Operations Team and Digital Transformation team. This organization provides the heartbeat for Global Technology and creates the foundation for a more agile and distributed future at Nike while supporting our local Technology Teams.
Because the nature of this work is cross-functional, you will work closely with other departments and programs such as Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Global Communications, Government Public Affairs, and Procurement. In addition, you will partner with peers in distributed locations and at Nikes Geography Headquarters. This role supports both our internal team and partners across Global Technologys team of advocates.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 years total experience professional experience. Communications experience preferred
Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and appropriately handle highly-confidential and sensitive information
Proven ability to work with executives, cross-functional teams, provide stakeholder updates, and to connect with teams around the globe
Strong analytical and organizational skills, along with written and verbal communication
Experience creating high-quality presentations utilizing PowerPoint
Comfortable speaking with multiple stakeholders at varying levels, ability to synthesize details and translate to project communication deliverables
Experience developing and executing end-to-end communication plans that delivered across a variety of media and channels
Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability
Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments; ability to prioritize
Superior interpersonal skills
Solution-oriented through collaboration
Demonstrated sensitivity and flexibility when working with other cultures
Experience working with Nike Geography team or global projects a plus
Experience with Distributed Workforces is a plus
