We are currently recruiting for an Operations Specialist (3IC) to join the team at our Nike Homebush DFO store!
This is a great stepping stone for someone looking for a career in retail leadership. Reporting into the Assistant Head Coach, this role will see you perform non-selling duties that support the store administration and accounting functions.
This fast-paced environment will see you involved in:
Performing cashiering tasks including all cash-related opening and closing duties
2IC for the stores Operations department
Assisting the leadership team in cashier training for Sales Associates (Athletes) and maintaining adequate training materials and documentation
Delivering excellent consumer service at all times
Maintaining accuracy of all Payroll information, and ensuring that wage spend does not exceed the monthly forecast
Supporting the Store Manager by reviewing P & L monthly
The essentials you need to bring are:
A passion for the Brand/Sports
Skill in performing basic Maths function; sound financial skills and business acumen, with the ability to closely monitor profitability and operating expenses
Significant previous relevant Retail and/or hospitality experience
Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and planning skills
Strong strategic, problem solving, and influencing skills
Proficiency in MS Office products
The successful candidate will work a rotating roster and must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
