You are a dedicated snowboarder, an open-minded and detail-oriented product freak.
You want to be a part of Salomon Snowboards’ evolution towards a leading position on the market.
As a Snowboard PLM, you will be responsible for the definition and the implementation of the product line strategy through the creation of line plans, briefings and sales-tools, to ensure the international business growth of this category.
Responsibilities:
Drive the evolution of Snowboard product lines on an international level.
• Define International range strategy to reach budget objectives.
• Develop market research, to understand market expectations and implement our brand positioning through products and technologies.
• Maintain a tight link with industry and pro-riders, to anticipate and participate towards product evolutions.
• Creating and presenting range briefs for all new products.
• Work with in-house design and development teams to deliver the most efficient and relevant product offer.
• Work with U.S. based marketing/communication department to create product information tools for field sales.
• Communicate with main subsidiaries & key accounts to update and fine-tune the range strategy throughout the year.
• Creating go-to-market packages, and presenting product lines to country managers.
Candidate Profile:
Motivated, organized and passionate about Snowboarding.
• College degree required (Product Marketing / Business)
• Intensive knowledge and personal interest in snowboard culture and products.
• Solution driven, Creative thinking, able to drive concepts and products from creation to final product
• Excellent communication skills.
• 2-5 years product marketing experience required.
• A sales experience in a snowboard specialty shop would be a big +.
• Computer proficiency – Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint. Basecamp
• Must be a team player and have solid consensus building skills
Location & Report:
• Job located in Salomon headquarters, in Annecy, France.
• International travels to main business areas
• Direct report to the Snowboard Product Creation Director.
