Heelside is seeking INDEPENDENT SALES REPS or SALES AGENCIES to sell Heelside snowboards, boots, bindings, helmets, outerwear and accessories.

***This is a COMMISSION ONLY position. We offer competitive commission rates***

Heelside has always been about the rider, because that’s what we are. We strive to build great snowboards, boots, and bindings, and keep the price affordable. We’re able to offer better products at lower prices because we control all of our own manufacturing - we don't have other companies build our products.

Heelside was founded in 1994 by a group of riders that were working together at a shoe company. Frustrated by the lack of supportive, high performance snowboard boots, they founded Heelside in order to develop gear for real riders. Years of experience in design and manufacturing gave Heelside an immediate advantage, allowing us to provide a superior product at a very competitive price.

Three years later, Heelside decided to use its expertise and knowledge of the sport to build a better snowboard. We purchased Function, which had been manufacturing boards for major companies since the early 90’s. This allowed us to design and build our own boards along with supplying other companies in the market.

In 1997, Heelside moved its factory and International Headquarters to Hood River Oregon, where we also opened the Heelside binding factory. This gave us complete control over the quality, design and manufacturing of our entire product line. With the year round snow of Mt. Hood a mere 20 minutes from the office, we’re able to refine our designs and develop the best snowboards, boots and bindings available.

Responsibility:

-Identify target market.
-Develop new accounts
-Service existing accounts
-Attend Regional and National tradeshows and promotional activities.
-Communicate with Heelside management with market trends, sell-thru data and sales forecasts.

Qualifications:

-3 years previous sales rep experience
-Candidates must not have conflicting lines
-Winter sports background
-Existing sales channel and retail relationships
-Computer proficient
-Understanding of business plans and ability to analyze trends
-Ability to set realistic goals and achieve them
-Time management skills
-Driven, passionate person with a positive attitude
