Position Summary:
The Marketing Operations Intern will get a 12-week immersion in all things that drive support and success in marketing at Monster. The job will specifically delve into all Marketing Operations departments, Field Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Partnership Marketing, POS, Event Marketing & Consumer Engagement. The Intern will assist in a hands-on project focused specifically on that Marketing Operations department discipline, 6 different projects over the course of 12 weeks. This role requires top notch organizational skills as well excellent communication skills. The Intern will be in constant contact with the project sponsor providing timely updates.
Essential Job Functions:
Gain an understanding of the entire Marketing Operations department and its’ functions.
Better understand the inner workings of our Sales Department and how Marketing supports that function.
Gain a full understanding of how the entire Marketing organization functions and Marketing Ops’ role within that structure.
Complete Monster University courses that support the knowledge base needed to function in this role.
Own and complete each project assigned within the 6 marketing disciplines, Field, Shopper, Partnership, POS, Events & Consumer Engagement.
Work closely with each project sponsor to ensure projects are on tracking and on time.
Critical thinking: scope out each project to determine the proper resources required to execute each project in a timely manner.
Maintain a communication cadence between the Intern & stakeholder.
Position Requirements:
Organizational Skills- Key to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
Technical Skills- Powerpoint & Excel competency is a must.
Excellent Communicator – Able to interact with people of all levels in a confident, professional manner.
Intelligent & Inquisitive- Marketing requires a fine balance of smarts & creative curiosity.
Passion for Excellence- Monster was built on a desire for excellence & winning.
Interpersonal Skills- This person can’t be timid. They will be engaged in conversations with individuals from all departments constantly.
Resourceful- Always willing to tackle issues that result in smart, efficient solutions
Flexibility & Resilience- Oftentimes at Monster we pivot quickly. That might mean deviating from the current execution plan.
Demonstrate ability and temperament to work with sensitive information
Creativity- In Marketing this skill is a must.
Team player – Have team-oriented experience and approach and enjoy working as part of a team

Pay Rate: $16.00
