This is an opportunity to design for the best Women’s performance products in the world. We need a strong creative individual with an eye for trend, fashion, color and functionality.

What will I do at UA?
o Manage a category of the women’s business from the design/technical side, including personal, work load and design direction
o Be the key women’s partner in nurturing the brand identity and distinctive Under Armour apparel offerings with a creative and timeless design vision
o Design and present women’s graphic collections to our team and customers under aggressive time lines
o Mentor Associate and Assistant Designers
o Develop and execute clear and detailed technical kits for development
o Interact cross functionally with Women’s PLM’s, Developers, Patternmakers, Fabric Developers, Accessories and Footwear teammates on seasonal line development, including Fit Sessions
o Build and continually improve sports competency across all categories
o Travel domestically and/or internationally approx. 2-3 times a yr. to collect and report on inspiration, trend and market research
o Have the opportunity to work with international and national professional sports teams
o Manage deadlines in accordance with the corporate calendar
o Come to the table with a strong point of view on creative issues and discussions
What does UA need from me?
o BA or BS in GRAPHIC design - must
o 5+ years of Design experience required, preferably in the women’s apparel industry
o 3+ years experience in the following:
o Designing women’s graphics for apparel
o Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop. Must be current
o Garment construction and textiles, including price points and merchandising needs
o Exceptional hand illustration skills
o The ability to recognize when is the right time to push the limits of a project but also knowing when to pull back and keep it simple
o A continued understanding of the market as it relates to graphics in performance sports and fashion
o Create design solutions that meet consumer needs and also reflect our overall brand message and aesthetic
