SUMMARY:
Manage swim event promotions and coordinate with sales representatives and dealers to increase consumer and dealer product knowledge, run product demos, and support local retailers. Assist with in store brand presentation, including product merchandising.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities of this employee are divided into four distinct areas including Events, Dealer Support, Athlete and Partner Management, and Social Media support. An integral part of these responsibilities will be to evaluate the success of all programs undertaken and generate ideas for improvement and to represent the brand with professionalism at all times.

Events:
• Maintain a detailed calendar of all events and grass roots promotions associated with Triathlon, Open Water Swimming, Masters Swimming, and Water Exercise including but not limited to triathlon expos, trade shows, swim clinics etc…
• Manage all promotional materials/tools including Pop Up Tents/Flags, Banners/Posters, and SWAG (t-shirts/goggles/tattoos etc...). Ensure that Aqua Sphere has adequate inventory to support all promotional activities and coordinate delivery and transfer of appropriate materials to all supported events.
• Coordinate with Aqua Lung affiliates and distributors in the AAP (America, Asia, Pacific) to ensure proper brand representation at events.
• Ensure all potential customers are left with a positive experience of the brand regardless of their purchasing decision

Dealers Support:
• Work with sales representative and dealers to educate about brand heritage, technologies, and product line.
• Work with sales representative and dealers to ensure Aqua Sphere is appropriately represented at events that authorized dealers attend.
• Work with sales representatives and dealers to ensure Aqua Sphere is merchandised properly and prominently in authorized dealers retail stores.
• Work with sales representatives and key dealers to coordinate consumer Swim demos and clinics to help boost brand awareness, credibility, and sales.
• Work with Sales Manager to establish new dealer and sales representative training program as well as means to effectively execute delivery and set-up of in store promotional collateral.

Athlete and industry Partner Management:
• Manage roster of athletes including maintaining current relationships and building new athlete relationships
• Maintain current strategic industry partnerships (i.e. LifeSport Coaching) and identify and build new relationships in Triathlon, Open Water Swimming, Masters Swimming, and Water Exercise.
• Coordinate athlete and partner activities at events (i.e. panels, signings…)
• Ensure athletes and partners are properly outfitted with Aqua Sphere products.

Social Media Support:
• Coordinate efforts with specific professional athletes to promote them as individuals as well as ambassadors of Aqua Sphere through their social media outlets.
• Drive consumer engagement with the Aqua Sphere brand through our athlete’s and partners individual personalities.
• Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Take on a leadership role in identifying strategic partners and events to participate at and ensure proper and consistent brand presentation through all partners and at identified events.
• Help keep the sales team updated on all brand and product promotions and educational activities.
• Responsibilities include dealer and consumer education in product knowledge and addressing customer product complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Must have excellent organization skills, verbal and written communication skills, and must be able to travel as needed.
• Willing and able to drive a non CDL company vehicle to and from events (Clean Driving Record).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• BS degree in Business Administration or Marketing, plus 3 years experience in consumer products environment (preferably sporting goods).
• Must have proficient computer skills and be familiar with the Microsoft Office package (Excel Spreadsheet, Word, Power Point, Outlook).
