Production Manager

Primary Functions
•Set up and manage development and production calendars each season to meet sales sample and production delivery deadlines.
•Check final design tech packs to ensure information and garment specs are complete and accurate before releasing to vendors.
•Create and issue P.O.'s for sales samples and bulk production orders.
•Manage daily communication (written and verbal) with agents and factories from order placement through FOB date (sales samples and bulk production).
•Resolve production issues through communication with Design, Sales, and Operations teams.
•Work closely with the Design team to ensure timely approval of pre-production items (lab dips, strike-offs, samples, etc.)
•Work with freight forwarders to approve bookings and manage shipping issues.

Requirements
•Strong planning and organizational skills.
•Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands.
•Fabric and garment construction knowledge.
•Excel, Outlook, Word.
•3-5 years experience in softlines production.
