Position Summary:
The Product Development Engineer will be involved with the design and development of highly innovative medical devices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, engineer and carry products into manufacturing.
- Assist in the development of quality standards and implement with manufacturing staff.
- Manage projects from beginning to end, ensuring that products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Create documents for reporting progress, documentation of design cycle, and analysis.
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in design and development of consumer products with plastic injection molded parts.
We are looking for a highly creative, self-starter that is capable of independent thought and is willing to put in the effort to make a project successful. Must be well versed in 3D surface modeling using Solidworks. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint desired. Good verbal and written communications skills are necessary for job performance. Able and willing to travel to China.
