Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX: As a Product Integrity Specialist, you contribute to formulating recommendations on guidelines and procedures with regards to Product Integrity. You will help to ensure the Arc’teryx brand integrity through global maintenance of product construction standards, best production practices and quality standards across all product categories and locations of manufacturers. You will develop and/or upgrade the processes and standards for ensuring and controlling the approval of the technical packages, construction, specification and quality of new models, and ongoing quality issue management. You sustain relationships with vendors, internal teams and remote Liaison Quality teams. This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in CanadaMeet Your Future Team:The Product Integrity team is part of the Quality & Compliance department and is responsible for ensuring that all products are constructed in accordance with Arc’teryx quality standards. We safeguard brand product integrity through establishing best practices and ensure stringent adherence to specification and construction methods. We secure bulk readiness and support growth plans with existing and new vendors by providing guidance on both current application and new methods of handling product and material processes. Our passion brings design to life and maintains our brand integrity.If you were the Product Integrity Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:! Evaluating technical packages including model sketches and construction during development phase for accuracy and provide feedback to Design and Product Development teams.! Establishing new processes, workflows, and standards for quality management of finished goods.! Establishing quality standards for construction and manufacturing methods for all finished goods factories in partnership with Quality, Advanced R&D, Design, Product Development, CMS, Pattern/Fit, and Production teams.! Attending Design initiations and other relevant quality meetings to provide technical expertise on new models and new construction.! Performing seasonal technical quality review (TQR).! Logging risk assessments in Centric and monitor high risk models up to pre-production stage. ! Preparing seasonal documents in Centric for Quality Team hand over.! Supporting technical specialist teams in Asia with transition models at counter sample and pre-production stage. ! Assessing prevention action plans, such as pilot runs and top of production (TOP) for high-risk models in preparation for bulk production runs! Ensuring the quality data in the Product Line Management System Centric, and quality management dashboards and systems stays current and accurate with the most recent results.! Supporting the Product Integrity Quality team in other quality tasks as neededHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:! Developing and/or updating the brands quality standards for finished goods based on the most recent standards and requirements.! Approving the new protocols developed by the Quality and product development teams.! Creating work instructions to distribute to factories for special construction projects. Are you our next Product Integrity Specialist?! You have 7+ years manufacturing experience within the apparel industry.! You have knowledge of apparel construction, material construction, material properties and manufacturing practices. ! You have a strong knowledge base of garment’s trims, material compositions, production, and quality standard test methods.! Your have great curiosity, are process development oriented and have an entrepreneur mindset to embrace ambiguity and commit to disruptive evolution through working with cross functional stakeholders and suppliers to establish new processes, workflows and standards.! You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.! You can problem solve independently and come up with multiple solutions in the face of ambiguity. ! You have a disciplined approach to prioritization and can effectively balance competing deadlines.! You have fluency in written and spoken English.! You have strong communication and interpersonal skill and the ability to influence cross-functionally.! You have proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse workforce.! You have strong time management and excellent organizational skills.! You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration.! You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right.! You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and PLM systems.!
