Purpose:
Develop high-quality action sports apparel in the Skateboarding category, including support on Snowboarding Outerwear. Support Category Director in building optimal product marketing plans for US and global markets. Combine the strengths of the brand and global skate culture to create a sustainable business opportunity for the company.
Key Accountabilities:
• Translate consumer, rider, and trend relevant skateboarding apparel needs into industry-leading products, including support on the snowboarding product offering
• Brief design with clear direction on developing leading products
• Work with cross functional teams on key product decisions, including material choice, fit, construction, colours/graphics, function, and costing
• Assist in developing a US focused product plan in conjunction with Category Director, US Go-To-Market and US sales
• Help drive global business opportunities while achieving measureable efficiency targets
• Manage and maintain all key systems work associated with product creation
• Assist Category Director in analyzing market feedback and developing category concepts and product strategies
• Present product range to internal and external clients
• Assist in identifying and creating sell-in and sell-through tools
• Travel to key markets with to identify market trends
