Square One is searching for a Footwear Product Manager to oversee the footwear product life cycle, enable us to dominate market share, help drive revenue, and innovate our industry. You will enable our sales team, athletes, and retail network to succeed by providing an innovative product line each model year.

The Work You’ll Do
• Responsible for concepting, prototyping, engineering, and delivering the Ronix and Radar footwear product line.
• Create and maintain technical packages for each model.

• Own and develop core relationship with our manufacturing partners.
• Deliver complete and thorough CAD models and drawing packages to our manufacturing partners.
• Identify, recommend, and specify to brand team the material, component, and construction options to meet pricing targets and product’s functional goals, as well as ensure product performance integrity through product testing (physical and field testing).
• Partner with vendors and factories in the manufacturing process to discover and advance new manufacturing techniques which enhance the overall performance of product.
• Deliver complete product presentations and storytelling to our retail and sales network.
• Create and build a knowledge base and stay informed about vendor capabilities and performance, factory relationships, quality issues, materials pricing, and lead times.
• Initiate and lead meetings with brand and design teams during various phases of development to review, evaluate, update and ultimately drive the decision-making process that leads to on–time project delivery and cost goals.
• Work with purchasing, brand and sales teams to understand production delivery date requirements. Plan production with manufacturing partners to guarantee on time delivery of production products.

Qualifications
• An experienced process and product development engineer with strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motived, driven character is a must.
• Prior experience managing technical footwear production and development.
• Strong acumen for design for manufacturability (DFM) including injection molding, stitching, plastic welding and assembly.
• Highly proficient in surface modeling through computer-aided design (CAD), SolidWorks preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator.
• Ability for international travel with previous experience (Asia preferred).
• Ability to develop new footwear products where specific direction and solution path is unclear.
