The Product Marketing Manager will lead iFixit's marketing activities associated with identifying market opportunities, building business cases, understanding the target customer requirements, developing go-to-market strategies and execution. You will be responsible for strengthening our brand and boosting sales through outstanding product presentation. Your goal will be positioning and promoting products through the most profitable plan. Creative and quantitative thinking is a must for this position. The perfect candidate will be familiar with a variety of marketing techniques, comfortable with research and knowledgable with varied pricing strategies and campaigns.

Product Marketing Manager responsibilities are:
-Translation of technical details into user benefits
-Partnering with product development to translate customer requirements into product attributes
-Manage a product line plan to optimize iFixit's product offering and profitability
-Creating compelling messages to be used across a variety of platforms, such as landing pages, ad campaigns, retail POS, etc...
-Follow and analyze market trends in order to best position our brand and products
-Develop go-to-marketing strategies to maximize the market opportunity
-Work alongside and within a variety of teams to implement strategies, from design and content to product and sales.
-Evaluate and analyze consumer and retail feedback to measure impact and report relevant KPIs
-Study our products in order to work effectively in this role
-Outline the compliance regulations/requirements as part of the product requirements

Product Marketing Manager requirements are:
-Background in product management, product development, product marketing or brand management
-Proficiency in, and familiarity with, web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or WebTrends
-Creativity, an eye for detail, and an analytical mind are necessary. These will take you a long way in crystallizing marketing campaigns
-BS/BA in similar or related field such as Communications, Marketing, Business; proven prior experience as a Brand or Product Manager, or similar position
