Anderson Brothers Design & Supply is looking for a strong Production Graphic Designer who will be responsible for pre production graphic design, building final hi-res art files, producing numerous elements in various sizes and specifications according to brand style guidelines.

We are seeking a Production Graphic Designer to be a part of our growing team. We require an individual who is highly detailed- and can work in a fast-paced environment. They should be motivated and proactive on every project presented to them. With over 150+ customers. Our design team is ready to handle more than one project at a time.

KEYJOB FUNCTIONS :

● Responsible for processing customer supplied files and preparing them for output. Responsibilities include troubleshooting files, artwork manipulation, color correction, and generating proofs.

● Complete all aspects of the request, which can include numerous elements at varying sizes and specifications.

● Adhere to customer-specific details.

● Review job tickets for proper job specifications prior to beginning work.

● Collaborates with VP of Sales and Design and Art Directors to ensure creative solutions comply with brand standards.

● Follow all production/sales standards for completing work-spell check, layout, standard quality control (QA), etc.

● Complete Production Design checklist to ensure all standards and processes were applied to design and production work

● Share Information and work as a team member to ensure efficiencies

● Adhere to quick deadlines while ensuring high production standards

● Create PDF proofs for client review.

● Reading and following job ticket instructions.

● Troubleshoot customer supplied files for potential issues.

● Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation when needed.

● Resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.

● Troubleshoot problems with the creative team and the press operators.

● Manage time to ensure tasks are being completed by the target date.

● All other duties as assigned

Scope of Position:

The Graphic Designer is the backbone of a design and production services studio in that he/she turns a single design in rough layout (comp) format to a hi-res, reproduction quality art file for media, apparel, and accessories.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

● College degree or equivalent work experience

● Must have worked in the Apparel industry for a fashion brand or screenprinter

● 3-5 years experience as a tee shirt graphic artist preferred. Experience in a design and production environment is a plus.

● Excellent people customer service skills. Must like to work with and interact with a variety of individuals.

● Attention to details.

● Must be able to work in an interdependent, team environment that fosters support, assistance and flexibility.

● Macintosh proficient with strong skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
