Based in Berlin, you will join the Central Europe Sports Marketing team! You will report to our Senior Business Manager and focus on driving NIKEs EMEA Sports Marketing portfolio in Central Europe.
We ensure that Nike has the right Sports Marketing assets to establish Nike as the consumers brand of choice! We require a sharp focus on industry network, servicing athletes, and proven fiscal management while ensuring the successful evolution of NIKEs Sports Marketing portfolio.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are searching for an Operations Specialist to join our Central Europe Sports Marketing team. We are looking for someone who will provide industry-leading services and experiences to our Nike-sponsored athletes. You are able to implement the Sports Marketing strategy through planning and forecasting, provide insights for future buys, and who will leverage the SM digital platforms to service assets.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Become the point of contact for Sports Marketing Managers and Nike-sponsored athletes to fulfill assets service needs.
Inclusive of setting up new accounts, managing product orders, forecasting product needs, placing product buys, analyzing buys to determine future action, looking for trends to advise our buys, supervising inventory, timely deliveries, and assisting teams in managing their allotments, all while ensuring that on-court/field product reflects NIKE business strategies.
Manage communication with internal and external partners providing transparency on key dates, inventory needs, and deadlines to ensure we provide world-class service. Work closely with Category coordinators and SM managers to provide all vital information regarding product planning around categories and events.
Elevate our overall service by being an outstanding teammate, building a solid understanding of our products, working closely with various cross-functional partners, proactively seeking ways to implement standard methodologies, and solving problems quickly and efficiently.
Crucial to your success will be an outstanding organizational ability, high-level verbal and written communication skills, and the capacity to build deep and meaningful partnerships.
Manage and prioritize numerous projects concurrently and implement the overall SM service strategy
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will closely work with the relevant Field Rep & Managers. You will need to collaborate closely with EMEA and Global Sports Marketing teams to understand the relevant toolkits that will be provided.
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE:
A successful candidate will be encouraged to clearly demonstrate and eloquently the experience of the below crucial requirements to be considered. Candidates meeting these criteria will then be assessed based on the proficiencies outlined below.
Proven track record in Operations acquired in a supply chain, operations, allocation, or planning
Strong analytical abilities linked to forecasting, inventory management, and business-making decisions
Able to understand, anticipate and handle the requirements of those in our portfolio on behalf of Nike
Excellent working with various internal systems and platforms to ensure a premium level of service, such as SAP, Excel, or Powerpoint. Knowledge of Cognos or Tableau is a plus.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams and partners at a senior level.
Knowledge of project management, designing, implementing, and improving processes and procedures
Good communication skills in English
Good communication skills in German are a nice to have
Passion or understanding of football and sports.
