WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are looking for a Professional, Sports Marketing Operations Berlin to provide industry leading services and experiences to Teams, Clubs & Federations and our Nike sponsored athletes! Are you ready to take on this challenge?To be successful in this role you need superior organizational abilities, high-level verbal and written communication skills, and the capacity to build deep and meaningful partnerships.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Your responsibilities will include:
Setting up new accounts, managing product orders, forecasting product needs, placing product buys, analyzing buys to determine future action, looking for trends to inform our buys, tracking inventory, on-time deliveries and assisting teams in managing their allotments, all while ensuring that on-court/field product reflects NIKE business strategies.
Managing communication to teams with key dates, inventory needs and deadlines to ensure we provide world class service. As a product expert for several key events, you will be responsible for assisting and communicating through the related product assortment, event planning and partnership management processes during the events.
Coordinating payments and vendor onboardings related to our portfolio of Clubs, Federations, Mens and Womens athletes, and field inquiries on payments and contract status.
Elevating our overall service by being an exceptional teammate, building strong knowledge of our products, working closely with various cross-functional partners, proactively seeking out ways to implement best practices, and solving problems quickly and efficiently.
Your deliverables will be:
Executing the overall SM service strategy
Forecasting and providing insights for future buys
Leveraging SM Digital Platforms to service assets
Being an effective inclusive team player & positive influence
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role you will be the point of contact for external partners and Director of Sports Marketing Football Clubs & Federations to fulfill team and athlete service needs. Additionally, you will work with the relevant stakeholders in our EMEA HQ.You will report in the Manager of Sports Marketing Business Affairs & Operations Berlin.
WHAT YOU BRING
Proven experience in Demand, Supply Chain & Inventory Management
Efficiency in delivery of concepts, products, and experiences to our Athletes, Teams, Clubs & Federations
Process improvement - you led and implemented changes bringing more efficiency to your work or your team
Partnership Management - Ability to develop & cultivate internal/external partnerships
Strong analytical skills with a critical metric approach
Order management proactiveness & analysis
Advanced Excel knowledge: pivot table, advanced formulas, able to work with complex data.
Familiarity with common procurement systems and tools such as Coupa, Aravo, and especially SAP is a plus.
Passion for football and sports
Good communication skills in English, German is a nice to have
