Description:
This Vans Equipment Group (VEG) Design Intern position will be responsible for creating and developing product concept drawings and prototypes that optimize function and appearance of products in the Vans Snow and Pro-Tec lines. The internship will involve analyzing data and feedback from the Marketing Department to ensure that products meet the requirements of the consumer and the marketplace.The Intern will also cooperate with the Development Department to maintain a practical concern for technical processes and manufacturing requirements. This internship is for Industrial Design majors

Key Responsibilities:
Develops products based on defined design briefs
Produces sketches, models, and 3-D computer databases of new and innovative designs
Communicates with Development and Engineering to meet cost and quality constraints
